Learning guitar is often referred to as yoga for the fingers, as they learn to stretch and even grow a little differently. The key to learning guitar is practice and if done the right way, it sure can be a whole lot of fun! Learning guitar soon becomes a wonderful experience once you can play numerous songs. Learning guitar is fun, develops confidence, coordination, an understanding of music, and develops a life long skill.

The first type of guitar is the Spanish or Classical acoustic. It is of great importance to choose the right one for you especially if you are just a beginner. At the beginning, music instructors recommended a nylon string classical guitar for you due to the fact that they are easier for your fingers as you try to adjust with it. This is a good choice and might be the best guitar for a beginner like you. You must be aware also that this guitar is appropriate for classical and Spanish type of music.

The next one is the Steel String Acoustic guitar. It has fundamentally the same design as the one mentioned earlier which is the classical guitar. The only difference is that the strings are made from steel for a clearer sound and a louder too but it will make your fingers a little pain at the beginning because the strings are a little bit harder than the nylon strings. But as soon as you get used to it, the soreness will eventually disappear but will leave your fingers a slight hardened part to the area where it gets contact with the string.

Learning guitar is easy; all it takes is practice and passion to learn. And that only happens with the right mind-set, there's no mystery behind it! Learning guitar is more than just knowing how to play your guitar, but about how to play any guitar; acoustic and electric. Learning how to play guitar is more than just strumming chords. Try rhythm and lead, and learn how to play chords, riffs and solos. You'll discover how different guitars have different 'feels' and how your playing can benefit from it.

The last type is an Electric Guitar. If you like rock music, this is the one that is best for you. They have also steel strings and could be painful on your fingers at the beginning. They have gap between strings and fret board knows as, "the action". You will notice that the strings are closer to the fret board that is the reason why it is easier to press the strings down.

Be sure that you know the tips on how to take care of your electric guitar. You must be able to keep it safe and free from any damage. Electric guitar is more flexible just as long as you continue working on your skills. If you like to play solos, electric guitar is the best with the help of the different amps available in the market.

You could be able to learn really quickly if you really focus and really determined to learn. Be patient in learning them. If you already know the basics of electric guitar, the following complicated steps become much simpler for you to understand.
