Producing Bass In Cars - Car Stereo

By Levi Allen

The cheap car audio subwoofer speaker is responsible for creating crisp and balanced bass in your music. The quality of your music is directly proportional to the quality of your subwoofer. In most cases, car stereo systems do not come with subwoofers installed. If you're a music enthusiast and want the best experience while driving, then this is an essential addition to your car.

How could we find the appropriate subwoofer? The very first factor you must have a look at the different sizes of subwoofers. You'll be able to select from large subwoofers and much more compact ones. The greater the subwoofer, the even louder bass you're going to get. Although this is a great feature of enormous subs, the problem is that you might want some room left over after you set them up.

Many enthusiasts install the large subwoofers in the trunk but if you need that space to hold other belongings, you may want to reconsider. If what you're looking for is a deep bass and something that doesn't have a big ban, then you should just go with a normal subwoofer. For most people a smaller subwoofer will be sufficient for their needs.

If you tend to play your music at low to medium volume levels, a small subwoofer will bring out the bass enough to enhance the quality of the music. You'll still get a deep and rich bass but of course you won't get a thundering base like the bigger speakers. Then there are the power requirements of the speaker

The power requirement of the car subwoofer speaker has to match the amplifier. Obviously bigger subwoofer speakers will need more power or the amplifier simply won't be able to handle it. In some cases, the sound quality will be muffled or will start to distort if the amplifier cannot handle the power of the subwoofer speaker.

Another factor to look at is always to consider the various designs. There are square subs and also circular ones. Square subs have more surface area and may produce lower bass, so they say. Some subwoofers fire bass from the side, front, or downwards. This will not only affect the way the bass is heard, but also the way it's felt. For example, a subwoofer that fires downwards will most likely cause your vehicle to vibrate more. but if you have a sub that's very powerful, it won't really matter. Your entire car including the windows might shake.
