The new Ipod nano 6th generation is here and those of you who are looking for an upgrade, will probably want to know more about it. Don't dismiss it as a simply marketing trick to lure in customers, because the new iPod has a lot of new features that didn't exist in the previous products.

As opposed to older models, the iPod nano 6th generation now has a touch screen. This is probably the largest difference between models, and is bound to be the first thing that you notice when you pick it up. Debates are still going on as to which version is better, as some prefer to have regular buttons instead of the touch screen, but in the end it all comes down to personal preference.

Another new feature of the iPod nano 6th generation is the integrated clip, something the former iPods didn't have. The obvious benefit of such a feature is mobility, as now you can take the iPod virtually everywhere, without being afraid that you will lose it. By simply attaching it to your belt or other piece of fabric you'd be wearing, you'll always have the iPod with you and won't risk losing it.

Depending on the version you purchase, the new iPod nano comes with 8GB or 16GB of space, waiting to be filled up with music. So even if you have a lot of songs that you like, it is now possible to copy them all on this gadget and have them with you at all times. Browsing through them is equally easy, since the TFT screen is bright and clear and has a 240 by 240 screen resolution that will satisfy even the most demanding users.

The iPod nano 6th generation has a battery life of up to 24 hours, but it all depends on how much you use the screen. That eats up the most battery life, as expected, but if all you do is start it and let it play the songs in order, then you can get impressive battery life out of the small device. Yes, this model is quite smaller than the previous iPod nano!

There is no need to watch the screen and press a button, if you are not in the mood for a certain song. The iPod nano 6th generation has a brand new feature called "Shake to Shuffle", which presents you with the possibility of changing songs by shaking the player.

For a few dollars more, the iPod nano offers a lot, so it is only fair to say that these extra dollars are well spent. A new touch screen, bigger memory, the integrated clip and fun features recommend the new iPod nano as a worthy addition for anyone who appreciates a quality product.
