Screen Gems recently came out with a new comedy/action flick titled "Easy A" into theaters a while back. I finally got around to watching it,and I agree with the top critics' positive opinions on this one. It was an excellent film.

Emma Stone should be a comedian because she was hysterical in this movie. Her and good ole Amanda Bynes really brought some good drama and comedy. The movie stars: Emma Stone, Penn Badgley, Amanda Bynes, Thomas Haden Church, Patricia Clarkson, Cam Gigandet, Lisa Kudrow, Malcolm MacDowell, Aly Michalka, and Stanley Tucci.

"Easy A" centered around character Olive (Stone) who,one day, gives into her friend's intense desires for her to tell her she finally had sex with a college dude. Soon enough, the rumor spreads like wildfire throughout the school. And,all of a sudden, Olive goes from being unnoticed most of the time to being constantly stared at and talked about. It also doesn't sit well with self righteous Christian freak Marianne (Bynes). She constantly tells Olive she needs to beg for forgiveness from God.

The craziness doesn't stop there. Eventually, Olive helps out her gay friend Brandon (Dan Byrd) from continuing to get picked on by giving the illusion of having sex with him at a wild party. From there, the rumors strengthened, but Olive embraces them, and continues to help make them even stronger by taking offers from more guys. As the hype of her being a whore continues to spread, she plays the role in convincing style by wearing sexy outfits with the letter "A" on them.

However, towards the end,one final incident makes Olive want to set the true record straight. In my opinion, the movie was hysterical as it featured scenes, which showed Olive making fake sex noises with Brandon, lots of fast, witty comebacks,Olive's mother revealing that she was a whore in her high school days, and more.

The laughs just never stopped in this flick. It was never dull, and kept me extremely entertained the whole time. That Emma Stone is a great actress. This movie made me a fan of hers. It was great to see Amanda Bynes back on the big movie screen . She was hilarious as well. Penn Badgley did a real good job as the cool,low-key guy named Woodchuck Todd. If you want to giggle hard,go watch this movie. I gave it a great "A+" grade.
