Fine - Infrared Wireless Headphones Review

By Brayden Lewis

Yesterday I was watching a blu-ray film in my laptop computer with the headphones.

I've heard background stuff in songs I didn't know were there. I usually have a test I use on all my new headphones and speakers, I refer to it as "The Wound" Test.

Did not notice any type of difference between film and songs. The bass below 32Hz can still be heard, however with little of the fundamental frequency and many of the odd order harmonics. Needs more work, specifically for 20 bucks. I've had these headphones for a month and love them. Otherwise, they are damn great for $20 and disposable after a few years.

Well-crafted and good value - I suggest them highly.

They fit nicely without binding.

For both it does the job, but I'm a cheap audiophile so I'm disappointed that I can't really hear all of the different instruments when I'm listening to music. Overall a pleasant noise cancelling headphones review made me shell out the cash for these. Nearly forgot to say, the Sennheiser HD201 is missing on the bass. At first they appeared to be extremely uncomfortable, but after putting them on for five or so minutes, they seemed exteremly comfy and light - I could barely feel them. I really like them!

The sound is extremely clear, crisp, pure to the ear and doesn't escape the custom headphones that might bother someone else in the room.

They're fairly big and as one prior reviewer put it, they are able to make everybody look like "Princess Leia" from Star Wars!

The bass is good although not ear-thumping.

Only one problem: the merchandise doesn't quite match the description on Amazon: "Features include high-energy neodymium magnets, a 2.5m extension cord and a convenient sound mode change to match the sound source. For that price they cannot be beat. Great sound and strong bass, distinct treble and vocals with these rf wireless headphones. The construction is super lightweight. The sound is remarkably great for such an affordable set of headphones. Outstanding construction! Stay with wrap-arounds and save your valuable cash. They'll definitely be very durable and are to date my personal favorite headphones out of my numerous sony and skull candy models. I am thinking about buying two more to go with my other laptop and my portable dvd player. For the cost it's very good.
