Good Head Phone Great Sound - RF Wireless Headphones Review
Posted by Kay Stanford Jr Kastum at 2:46 AMBought these instead of Panasonic RP-HT360 because a lot more people had bought these and were pleased with them, and since these were the only real headphones I'd found that a reviewer had measured the audio-response of. They're very good for blocking out outside sound. They muffle all outer sounds giving you that one on one feeling, and that was my Tony The Tiger impersonation.
They are probably the preferred things I have ever placed on my head...not counting the sweater hat my grandma made when I was ten.
Listening exhaustion is minimal at reasonable listeing volume.
They were an excellent value and they get the job done. I play and compose songs for a hobby.
There is not much distinction between these and my Sennheiser 555 was a gift.
The only real downside that I noticed is it's two modes: film and songs, and switching between the two doesn't actually make a difference. Maybe it is not as good as my 20,000 - 36,000 hz home entertainment, nevertheless its an enormous enhancement over what I was using. Sound blocking: Despite the closed-ear style, it does not have the desired effect with the music switched off. It comes with adapter to help you use with CD/MP3 player or your house stereo that takes a bigger input. Purchased this after the aggravation of having my ipod/gummy earbud break every other month.
They lasted one whole week before the sound in each earphone went mute. The "movie/music" switch doesn't do anything whatsoever to the sound. Wound up breaking several portable rf wireless headphones, so got him this one with a long cord. When it comes to comfort, the headset is really a mixed bag. The ear-cup covers the whole ear and doesn't sit on top of earlobes unlike a few of the other designs.
Nevertheless, I apologize to say the second I put these on, I realized I'd not be able to continue with them. I've had them on now for 45 minutes and they did not bother me whatsoever (Unlike HD280 Pro I mentioned above). The almost eleven foot cord/cable makes it comfortable to put on the sofa, listen and enjoy her songs. I compared these to two other types of Sony headphones which had similar or better specs and critiques. Everything in the product is nice. Sure, they're cheaply made.
The sound is good, although not super rich. These are a good buy for the money.
Fit snugly and comfy, sound production is excellent (I am no audiophile so I believe its great), and also you can't beat the cost. Well-crafted and good value - I suggest them highly.
If there is an opportunity you may want richer sound, so if you have some extra bucks I recommend you continue searching for head phones.
