I wear glasses so studio headphones can be uncomfortable. Now of coarse they do not sound as good as my Sony MDR 7506 however they didn't cost more than $100.00 either. They can fit over the entire ear without causing feedback.
These headphones are an incredible deal, outstanding sound for just $20! The Koss headphones are also a little less expensive. Bear in mind, you get what you purchase.
The foam padding is extremely comfortable and I often put them on to sleep, seeing how the stop external noise quite well. The sound is much more live and near.
Sound is excellent, you are able to select various sound modes, which is ideal, but I don't think I'd select them again.
But the truth is, you receive what you paid for when you buy headphones online. N disappointed with the quality of sound, specifically for the cost. One "con" is the fact that these headphones are very big, as in measure about 2" out from your face and that is how far these stand out. I just read the truly amazing reviews and chose to take a risk. Buy these, they're a lot better than my previous headphones. They are probably the preferred things I have ever placed on my head...not counting the sweater hat my grandma made when I was ten. Close your eyes and order it with no worry about its quality. General, I believe they might have the ability or the possibility to be loud like I would like them to be, but my buddy is currently focusing on making an amplifier for connecting to the headphones for me personally. I purchased these to suffice my hunger for songs and sound. It might be especially obvious when listening to digital songs. There is not much distinction between these and my Sennheiser 555 was a gift. General, great headphones. Purchase Sennheiser HD202 instead!!! This makes it seem like you are trying to bring back a trend in the 70's. They look very stylish, and provide good quality of sound for there budget range.
I ordered those to replace some Sennheisers that I gave to my hubby. Now they sound excellent. But thats okay, if dealt with carefully they might be servicable for a while. There might be better headphones, but for right now and for the price, derive these headphones. I went to J&R with the thought of buying this off-the-shelf.
