So far I have gone a few rooms nearby. They are just crystal clear all the time. Thanks Amazon for offering quality with great pricing. The design of earphone is so unique that I have not seen before. I purchased these wireless headphones for quiet listening late at night so I would not disturb other people. I have used the wired Sennheiser HD 414 headphones for the last 20+ years and have had zero problems with them. Both the 180's and 130's are open, so this is not explained by some type of closed environment in the 130's. It is something with the technology of the 180's that creates a slight delay in sound transmission.

I recommend printing out the relevant pages from the PDF manual. Sound quality is good; however I only use them to watch movies or TV programs.

It is easy to use these cans for long periods of time as the ear pieces are comfortable & compliant. I had forgotten just how good (& well produced) these guys were.

They feel like expensive headphones and look nice as well. But they are expensive! He is one of the most critical individuals you have ever met when it comes to hearing vocals and music. At the youthful age of 81 we had tried just about everything to accommodate his auditory sensitivities. Exceptionally audio and as advertised the headphones enhance the audio clarity, as if bringing the voices to the front of the screen. This particular model -- the 180 -- focuses on "open air" and the audio clarity.

Once in a while there is a little pop in the sound but remember these are wireless. It enables me to listen to TV while my mate is sleeping and vice versa.

It links up between headset and transmitter base in an instant. No tuning required as with the analog types. I am very pleased with them and would recommend this model as they are updated and perfected to give the buyer a good quality for the $. The week I purchased them they were 50.00 less in price and I don't know how I lucked out, but I paid under 300.00. After breaking them in for a couple of days, they fit my head like a large comfortable head glove. I've worn them already for hours on end with very little ear fatigue. Now that I am able to hear so well again, makes the Sennheiser RS 180 Headphones well worth their cost. I have/had both multiple wired/wireless headphones, so I've put together a mental list over time, of what worked, and what hasn't.
