I bought it as a birthday present for my husband. It came nicely packaged. I think RS130 is analog sound and RS180 is digital sound. Sound quality is very good and no static background noise. Battery life was great; the original batteries are still going strong. The Sound I thought was great.

My ears also hurt after a short time due to the foam ear pads. After more research I decided to give the RS180 a try.

Overall, I've been really happy with this purchase. First, it was really easy to set up the headphone system. This feels like a silly oversight from the design team! I would easily recommend these and would buy them again in a heartbeat! I would still recommend these headphones even with the few negatives it has. With what really counts for me is quality construction, comfort and excellent sound reproduction, these headphones have it.

I average around 75 feet before it starts to cut out. However I have extended this range a bit by putting the transmission base as high as I can reach to put the headphones back on the base for recharging.

Now this takes all of 2 seconds to do but it is an extra step I find just a tad annoying. But again, this is a tiny thing and in no way is a criticism of the actual performance of these great phones.

Good instructions and it looks very sleek and modern. Works fantastic.

The controls (volume up, volume down, and balance) are small and right next to one another, and I can't imagine trying to use them with the phones on. It's very easy to hit the wrong button.

Sennheiser RS 180 Digital Wireless Headphone RS 180 has a brilliant sound quality compatible to high end professional, wired system. Comfortable fit for prolong usage. Yes, but you get what you pay for. I absolutely love them. I bought these to use with Skype so I could move around or lay down on group calls and studies I participate in. I had tried a cheaper pair that I returned because they wouldn't connect.
